Kann mir mal eine/r der hier auch vertretenen JournalistInnen sagen, warum in (fast) allen Nachrichten zu Covid19 in Ländern nur die absoluten Tages/Gesamt Zahlen und nie relative Zahlen (pro 100.000 oder pro 1Mil. Einwohner) genannt werden…
Verschleierung oder Dramatisierung oder die großen Zahlen oder einfach nur JHU?

Da laufen dann Millionen in Indien gegen Hunderttausend hier. Tolle Information, denn die Inzidenz 7 Tage/100.000 in DE ist ca. 3 in Indien 14? wäre ~ 2x wie Frankfurt am Main

@vilbi Yes. I'm tired of having to look up populations of various places and do the arithmetic all the time.
I know it's not *accurate*, but it's a lot more useful than some stupid absolute number of deaths comparing e.g. monte carlo to germany. Grrrr.

@gemlog this side shows only EU... but I have seen on JHU slso when I remember right some mortality data...
